Seabrook island is located approximately 35
minutes south of Charleston on the banks of the North Edisto
River and along the southeast facing beach of the
Atlantic Ocean.
Here, the southeasterly trade breezes are common from early
spring until late the fall. Seabrook Island is known for its
native wildlife, preserved palms trees and natural
oaks. Seabrook Island has shared shopping areas, fine dining,
golf, tennis and other amenities with Kiawah Island, which is
located just to the north.
Just outside of the Seabrook protected area is Bohicket marina
with floating docks, boat rentals, waterside shopping areas and
restaurants.
